The responses of Obama's supporters--some even identify themselves with Obama's campaign logo--show unequivocally that the Obama campaign is totally defenseless against this issue.

General Patton warned his soldiers very sternly against firing a rifle at a tank. It does the tank no harm, and it also tells its occupants that you don't have an anti-tank weapon. The bleating of Obama's defenders at Digg show similarly that Obama can offer no defense whatsoever for his endorsement of Al Sharpton and his anti-Semitic hate group, both of which screamed racial and anti-Semitic epithets at a Jewish-owned store in 1995.

This is the best that Obama's supporters have to offer. It would have taken no great effort for the reporters covering the Apollo debate to have walked across 125th Street from the theater to visit Freddy's Fashion Mart, where in 1995 eight people died in a murderous rampage inspired by Mr. Sharpton.

...Picketers from Mr. Sharpton's National Action Network, sometimes joined by "the Rev." himself, marched daily outside the store, screaming about "bloodsucking Jews" and "Jew bastards" and threatening to burn the building down.

After weeks of increasingly violent rhetoric, one of the protesters, Roland Smith, took Mr. Sharpton's words about ousting the "white interloper" to heart. He ran into the store shouting, "It's on!" He shot and wounded three whites and a Pakistani, whom he apparently mistook for a Jew. Then he set the fire, which killed five Hispanics, one Guyanese and one African-American--a security guard whom protesters had taunted as a "cracker lover." Smith then fatally shot himself.

And what did Barry Hussein Obama have to say about this very same racist and anti-Semitic hate group and its leader, under whose personal supervision much of the above activity took place? "Reverend Sharpton is a voice for the voiceless, and a voice for the dispossessed. What National Action Network has done is so important to change America, and it must be changed from the bottom up." Perhaps Barry's perception of "change" includes burning white and Jewish-owned stores in the "wrong" neighborhoods, much as the Klan once treated Black homes and businesses in white neighborhoods.


Al Sharpton: The Democrat's David Duke by Jeff Jacoby (http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=2411) adds that Morris Powell also said of Freddy's owner, "We're going to see that this cracker suffers," and that the National Action Network--the same organization that Obama endorsed--shouted "Burn down the Jew store!" 1991: A Hasidic Jewish driver in Brooklyn's Crown Heights section accidentally kills Gavin Cato, a 7-year-old black child, and antisemitic riots erupt. Sharpton races to pour gasoline on the fire. At Gavin's funeral he rails against the "diamond merchants" -- code for Jews -- with "the blood of innocent babies" on their hands. He mobilizes hundreds of demonstrators to march through the Jewish neighborhood, chanting, "No justice, no peace." A rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum, is surrounded by a mob shouting "Kill the Jews!" and stabbed to death.

"Power Dem" by Jay Nordlinger (http://www.nationalreview.com/20Mar00/nordlinger032000.html) expands on this as follows. The following is directly from Al Sharpton, Barry Hussein Obama's "voice for the voiceless."

The world will tell us that [Gavin Cato] was killed by accident. . . . What type of city do we have that would allow politics to rise above the blood of innocent babies? . . . Talk about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights. ...If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house."

So said an entry on MoveOn.org's now disgraced Action Forum. Barack Obama solicited this organization's support, and he accepted it as shown at http://moveon.org/press/pr/obamaendorsementrelease.html.

MoveOn.org's Action Forum was one of that organization's most prized organizing tools until the public discovered that it contained reams of anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic, and other forms of hate speech as well as 9/11 conspiracy theories that blamed the U.S. Government and/or Jews for the worst crime that has ever been perpetrated against this country. Eli Pariser, the same individual who sanctioned the publication of a defamatory insult to General David Petraeus ("General Betray Us," https://pol.moveon.org/petraeus.html) tried to excuse the hate speech as follows.

MoveOn's ActionForum is an open forum where members of the public and MoveOn members can post their thoughts regarding important political issues. Once in a while—as in any public forum—inappropriate material is posted. Recently, a few of the thousands of comments that are posted every week contained anti-Semitic language.

(1) It wasn't just "a few" comments, it was literally dozens, and this does not include the racist, anti-Catholic, or anti-Evangelical hate speech either.
(2) It wasn't just "recent." Some of the hate speech had been online for months if not more.

The comments that were posted were abhorrent. We were dismayed to see them, and removed them as soon as they came to our attention 17 days ago.

(1) The Action Forum's own FAQ page (http://www.actionforum.com/general/faq.html#1, online as of 9/21/08) says that the moderators read each entry twice, which means that the moderators saw them and did nothing about them until they became a public scandal--much like the hate speech that pervades Barack Obama's own campaign site at my.barackobama.com.
(2) An enormous collection of hate speech--enough to fill three large Web pages--was harvested from the Action Forum two or more weeks after Eli Pariser said it was removed. A few examples appear below, and all were harvested after Pariser made the above statement.

Many of the comments identified were not, in fact, made by MoveOn members.

How do you know, Eli?

We are working to discern whether they were made as a part of a right-wing campaign to target the organization.

This is about as believable as, "The cops planted the weed on me, man" when the speaker has two "Mary Jane" cigarettes hanging from his mouth.

Clearly, any attempt to tie MoveOn's 3.2 million members to the hateful comments of a few nonmembers on an online public forum is wrong.

Again, how does Pariser know they were nonmembers? Again, it wasn't just "a few," it was dozens.

We were pleased to see that so many MoveOn members rose to sharply criticize the hate speech that was posted – even before it was brought to our attention."

As shown by the overwhelming votes of approval for the hate speech, which we have included in the quotes below, the opposite is true--as with a lot of what Eli Pariser says. Remember, this is the same individual who sanctioned the publication of a defamatory insult to a four-star general, and Barack Obama's spittle joined Pariser's on this officer's uniform and service ribbons when he accepted MoveOn's endorsement. In addition, we encourage the reader to do a Google image search on "MoveOn.org" and "Pope Benedict" to see MoveOn.org's derogatory photo-manipulation that shows the Pope waving a gavel in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. This also was on Eli Pariser's watch, and it doubtlessly had his approval.

Now, this is the kind of material that MoveOn.org welcomed to a Web site over which it exercised editorial control. All was downloaded after Eli Pariser said it had been removed, and we have included the votes from other MoveOn Action Forum participants.

It is a matter of record that a moderator at Obama for America, Emily (they give only their first names) counseled a user to write "Israel Lobby" instead of "Jewish Lobby" in his blog postings. Google on "emily," "obama for america" and "israel lobby" to learn more.

We can all see how AIPAC/Israel has taken control of America. Not to get nasty but jews have a long history of subverting governments for their own enrichment and glory to the detriment of whole societies. Today in Israel, school curricula are dominated by the Talmud, especially a specific Talmudic text called Shulhan Aruch. In this text, Jews are commanded to slaughter non-Jews who are viewed more or less as animals or at least lesser human beings.

Another MoveOn.org Action Forum posting, with which 13 out of 16 readers agreed, said that Zionism is racism. Eight out of eight, meanwhile, agreed with the following:

I am Jewish and proud of it (despite everything) but I am sick of seeing those neo-cons posing as average joes on national television to defend Bush and his lies. Since they don't have the decency or honesty to identify themselves by saying: "But you know, I am a Zionist and may be biased" and since most Americans can't tell the difference and don't have the courage to ask, maybe they should be forced to wear an Israeli flag on the lapel of their jackets. Barack Obama solicited and accepted this organization's endorsement, thus enabling and empowering anti-Semites. Barack Obama endorsed and praised Al Sharpton and his National Action Network, thus enabling and empowering more racists and anti-Semites. Barackobama.com says openly, meanwhile, that it gives donors' personal information to other organizations.

Right, Barry, it's "above your pay grade" or, as Al Gore might say, you have "no controlling authority." This is typical of Barry's management of his campaign Web site. Local talk show host Steve Corbett says a threatening E-mail was sent to him via Barackobama.com, and my.barackobama.com is on record as hosting anti-Semitic, ageist, and misogynist hate speech. My.Barackobama.com also tries to disclaim responsibility for hate speech, libel, and even death wishes for Bill and Hillary Clinton, President Bush, and John McCain, even though the moderators' exercise of editorial control makes it at least morally responsible for its content.

Remember, Barackobama.com says "We are not responsible for any failures in the software to preserve subscriber anonymity," and the privacy page says openly that it shares personal information with "other organizations." We thought it was impossible for the National "Jewish" Democratic Council to sink any lower in terms of depravity and pure opportunism. Its effort to disrupt the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations' Rally to Stop Iran to embarrass Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin hardly surprises us, though. In addition, the National "Jewish" Democratic Council misrepresents Hillary Clinton's reasons for not attending the rally with Palin.

We sent an E-mail to the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations and we called the organization as well, to make sure it knows the real nature of the organization with which they it is dealing.

NJDC Calls for Withdrawal of Palin Invitation to Iran Rally

Monday's protest against Ahmadinejad is too important to be tainted by partisanship. Unfortunately, the campaign of Senator John McCain is much more interested in scoring political points than insuring there is bipartisan solidarity around the anti- Ahmadinejad efforts. Therefore, we call upon the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations to withdraw the invitation to Governor Sarah Palin and we applaud Senator Hillary Clinton's decision to not attend the rally after the attendance of Palin was announced.

By withdrawing Palin's invitation, the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations will be able to return the focus to America's outrage towards the genocidal musings and nuclear ambitions of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

As with most pronouncements by the National "Jewish" Democratic Council, the above is misleading at best. Hillary Clinton did not withdraw because she thought the event was partisan, or because she did not want to appear with Palin. She was unhappy, and perhaps justifiably so, that the organizers did not tell her that Palin also was going to attend.

Clinton backed out of a protest scheduled for Monday in New York against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's attendance at the opening of the UN General Assembly after learning that organizers also invited the Republican vice presidential nominee without informing her.

The NJDC has never let honor, decency, or the truth get in its way before, so its demand here is hardly surprising. In fact, the very wording of its own blog entry shows that its real problem is with Sarah Palin's presence: "we applaud Senator Hillary Clinton's decision to not attend the rally after the attendance of Palin was announced." In other words, NJDC would not have had a problem with Hillary Clinton's attendance because she is a prominent Democrat. It has a problem with Sarah Palin's presence because she is a Republican. Then, after demonstrating its own partisanship, NJDC has the chutzpah to proclaim, "Unfortunately, the campaign of Senator John McCain is much more interested in scoring political points than insuring there is bipartisan solidarity around the anti-Ahmadinejad efforts."

We remind our readers that the National "Jewish" Democratic Council is without honor. Some time ago, Ira Forman allowed himself to make the following noises at NJDC's blog:

It is time all of us—organizations and individuals—take the responsibility for outing and yes, even shaming, the purveyors of sinat chinam [baseless hatred] in our community—to protect our values and to protect our community's genuine political interests.

We immediately stepped forward and identified ourselves as a leader of the efforts to expose Barack Obama for "cavorting with anti-Semites" (Forman's own words) and challenged NJDC to a point/counterpoint debate. Like a blowhard who proclaims he can lick any man in the bar, and then slinks out the back door when one actually stands up, NJDC made itself scarce when we invited it to put up or stand down. As stated by James Fenimore Cooper's Last of the Mohicans,

Your tongue is loud in the village, but in battle it is still. None of my young men strike the tomahawk deeper into the war-post–none of them so lightly on the Yengeese. The enemy know the shape of your back, but they have never seen the color of your eyes. Three times have they called on you to come, and as often did you forget to answer.

In any event, we are still waiting for the NJDC to "out and shame us" for educating our readers about Obama's open association with anti-Semites and racists of the worst kind. As stated by one of our favorite role models,

Please ignore the National "Jewish" Democratic Council's request to disinvite Palin to your rally.

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council demands that you revoke your invitation to Sarah Palin for your Rally Against Iran. This organization has a long track record of misusing its nominally Jewish identity to mislead Jewish voters, and to damage Jewish-Christian relations. Examples include:

(1) Its whitewash of the anti-Semitic hate speech that MoveOn.org hosted on its now-disgraced Action Forum (2006)
(2) The "Bubbie versus the GOP" video (2004), which portrays Christians, ministers, Jesus, and the Cross in a "This is the Enemy" context. This in turn reinforces the "Jew as Christian hater" stereotype that real anti-Semites have used to incite pogroms for centuries.
(3) A smear of the Christian computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces."

We do not, by the way, agree with the theology behind "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" but this is not an excuse to smear the game by proclaiming that it rewards players for killing people who won't convert to Christianity. We downloaded the trial version ourselves, and the idea is to use missionaries to convert neutral people (you aren't allowed to kill them!) while using Christian music to turn evildoers neutral. Violence may be used only against the Antichrist's armed minions, with Christian music being preferred to violence. (See http://www.israpundit.com/2007/?p=5614). As shown at http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2007/08/pentagon-came-c.html, the NJDC did not change or delete the inaccurate information from its Web site even after being informed of its inacccuracy, and that should tell you plenty about this organization.

The NJDC does not care how many people you alienate by revoking your invitation to Sarah Palin, and it does not care about your organization's reputation, success, or well-being. Grassroots person-to-person contacts can negate his eight-figure campaign budget

"Unmasking the Source of an Internet Rumor" shows how viral E-mail can decide the 2008 Presidential election. "Viral E-mail" does not mean the E-mail contains a computer virus; instead, it spreads like a virus (or propagates like a nuclear chain reaction). The Flash presentation at Jewsvote.org presents this concept visually, and it shows why the Obama campaign finds the idea terrifying. If neighbor to neighbor contacts expose Obama's support for Black Nationalism, his association with racists and anti-Semites of every stripe, and his questionable campaign financing methods, all the money in the world won't buy this election for him. He can spend a hundred million dollars to run the same ads over and over again but, when voters verify for themselves that he is a phony and a fraud, they will just laugh at the ads and vote for McCain/Palin.

Viral E-mail emphatically does not mean spamming, or blasting an E-mail message indiscriminately to hundreds or thousands of people. This violates the terms of service of every reputable Internet service provider on earth. It means distribution of personal messages to people whom you know, and who know you. It's a "neighbor to neighbor" form of contact that requires very little effort from the participants. Viral E-mail is therefore a neighbor to neighbor or friend to friend form of contact. Viral E-mails that contain questionable information, smears, and urban legends merely serve to discredit our side. It is vital that the reader be able to verify for himself or herself that the content is accurate. As an example, if we say that Obama endorsed "the prominent racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton," we suggest a Google search on "Sharpton" and "Tawana Brawley" or "Freddy's Fashion Mart" or "Crown Heights" or "Yankel Rosenbaum" so the reader can verify independently that Sharpton has a track record of inciting hatred of white people and especially Jews. The truth is not a smear, no matter how inconvenient Obama & Co. may find it.

Here is an example of how we would compose a viral E-mail. Note that every quotation is referenced with a page number, so the reader can go to a library or bookstore and see that Barack Obama really wrote the words in question. In contrast, the urban legend quotes from "Dreams From My Father" never have page numbers.

These quotes show very clearly that Barack Obama is into Black Identity politics and even Black Nationalism, and he is therefore not qualified to represent Americans of all races and ethnicities.

Obama's only problem with Black Nationalism had to do with questions of its effectiveness

It contradicted the morality my mother had taught me, a morality of subtle distinctions–between individuals of goodwill and those who wished me ill, between active malice and ignorance or indifference. Inside the front cover, one found reprints of the minister's [Farrakhan's] speeches, as well as stories that could have been picked straight off the AP news wire were it not for certain editorial embelleshments ("Jewish Senator Metzenbaum announced today…").

Stick a fork in Obama: he's done

The following is in today's New York Post, a factual albeit sometimes sensationalistic newspaper. That is, while it favors giant and sensationalistic headlines, the content is genuine news. The bottom line is that Barack Obama allegedly attempted to undermine official U.S. policy in Iraq, an action that could have endangered thousands of lives as well as regional peace and security, for his own political benefit. We encourage our readers to circulate this story as widely as possible, because it alone should mean the end of Obama's candidacy.

OBAMA TRIED TO STALL GIS' IRAQ WITHDRAWAL by Amir Taheri

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

...Obama has given Iraqis the impression that he doesn't want Iraq to appear anything like a success, let alone a victory, for America. The reason? He fears that the perception of US victory there might revive the Bush Doctrine of "pre-emptive" war - that is, removing a threat before it strikes at America.

We must now ask whether Obama is merely wishing for our country's foreign policy to fail in Iraq, or whether he is working actively to cause it to fail. We are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice but, were the latter to be proven, we refer our readers to the following element of U.S. Code Title 18.

NJDC also whitewashed and enabled anti-Semitic hate speech

"Biden will headline NJDC event" by Eric Fingerhut reports that Senator Joseph Biden will be the keynote speaker at this month's National Jewish Democratic Council's conference in Washington. We must point out emphatically that the only thing "Jewish" about this organization is its name, which it uses to whitewash and sanitize anti-Semitism from its political allies like MoveOn.org. The "Christian Identity Movement" similarly calls itself Christian, but no one except its members believe this.

Hate and bigotry go hand in hand with the Democratic Party's left wing (the MoveOn.org wing, which claims to have "bought" the party). In 2004, John Kerry invited the infamous racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton to be a keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention. MoveOn.org's now-disgraced Action Forum hosted reams of anti-Semitic and anti-Catholic hate speech, while MoveOn.org itself published a derogatory photomanipulation of Pope Benedict and a defamatory insult to General David Petraeus. The National "Jewish" Democratic Council has published anti-Christian hate images, and it used its nominally Jewish identity to whitewash MoveOn.org's anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activities. This is the entity at which Biden is to be a keynote speaker, much as Barack Obama appeared at Al Sharpton's National Action Network--the same hate group that screamed racial and anti-Semitic epithets at Freddy's Fashion Mart in 1995.

Not only is Joseph Biden appearing at what could well be defined as an anti-Christian hate group, he is doing so knowingly and willfully. It is a matter of record that the Obama campaign was told about NJDC's activities.

In Episode 1, red-robed Republicans cluster around a lectern with a Cross. The image of red-robed government figures around a lectern with a Star of David in a similar context would obviously be anti-Semitic because it implies that the "Zionist Occupied Government" is taking over America. The use of the Cross in the same context is therefore an anti-Christian hate image. Then a poster appears in the background that shows a large figure of Jesus and the caption, "Visit Jerusalem After the Rapture," thus mocking and deriding Christians who believe in the Book of Revelation while portraying Jesus in a "This is the Enemy" context.

Episode 2 opens with a poster behind Bubbie that says "America is a Christian nation," thus again portraying Christians as enemies of Jews.

Episode 3 is the one in which Republicans, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, sew a Cross into the flag's blue field. Anti-Semites often use the Star of David in exactly the same context (occupying the flag's blue field) to imply Jewish control of the United States. This video opens with a Christian minister proclaiming that a vote for Bush is a vote for God. There is also an arguably racist picture of a dark-skinned man, who might be an Arab but who looks more like an Asian Indian, in charge of Homeland Security.

Episode 4 includes a blimp with "Jews for Jesus" on it, again in a "This is the Enemy" context. The blimp proclaims that a vote for Bush is a vote for God.

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council then goes on to promote hatred of Christians by smearing the Christian computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces." (http://www.israpundit.com/2007/?p=5614) NJDC's total disregard for the truth is underscored by the fact that the misinformation it published about this game is still online as of September 1, 2008. (http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2007/08/pentagon-came-c.html) The NJDC knows that this information is totally incorrect, but it has not removed or revised its blog entry.

The National Jewish Democratic Council went on to underscore its hatred of Christians by opposing elective Bible as Literature courses to public school students. (http://www.israpundit.com/2007/?p=7065)

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council has even gone so far as to say that the Jewish Messiah is likely to be a Democrat, a proposition that is certainly offensive to Jews who believe in a Messiah. (Then again, since the Democratic Left is treating Barack Obama as the second coming of Jesus, that would in fact make him the Jewish Messiah and presumably the Tenth Avatar of Vishnu as well.)

In addition to material whose possible purpose is to damage relations between Christians and Jews, the National Jewish Democratic Council has used its nominally Jewish identity to whitewash MoveOn.org's sponsorship of the most vicious imaginable anti-Semitic (and other) hate speech (http://www.jrtelegraph.com/2006/09/jews_call_on_bo.html). Ira Forman personally signed his name to the following statement:

Jewish voters should take comfort in knowing that MoveOn.org is not a haven for anti-Semitism and the organization will renounce and remove any postings of the sort. Leave it to Republicans to not allow the truth to get in the way of campaigning. Sincerely, Ira Forman Executive Director National Jewish Democratic Council

and stood by it even though NJDC was given incontrovertible evidence that MoveOn.org not only knew about the hate speech on its now-disgraced Action Forum, but did not even remove more than a few items (contrary to the above statement). NJDC's persistence with this falsehood is consistent with NJDC's refusal to remove or change its misinformation about "Left Behind: Eternal Forces."

NJDC also posted the same kind of "Jew as Christian hater" propaganda that was used to incite various pogroms and the Holocaust. Per "Republicans' Elephant in the Living Room," (http://www.njdc.org/issues/detail.php?id=651&iss=2) still online as of September 1, 2008,

As for the purportedly common ground between Jews and Christians on American domestic issues, it is narrow indeed. Research by a variety of scholars and pollsters - Ken Wald of the University of Florida, Eric Uslaner and Mark Lichbach of the University of Maryland, the survey released just last week …shows a chasm between American Jews and evangelical Christians on issues ranging from the Iraq war to legal abortion to gay rights. More than identifying the schism on any specific topic, the research describes a visceral distrust, bordering on antipathy, for Evangelical Christians on the part of American Jews. For myself, I find this attitude to be exaggerated, or at least more suited to the past than the present, and yet it is an undeniable political reality. It is the kind of passionate reflex that a political consultant of my acquaintance, who happens to be a Republican, refers to as an "emotional trigger." And in any campaign, he says, you need to find your side's emotional trigger to get people out the door to vote.

This statement is clearly designed to damage relations between Jews and evangelical Christians, and it is therefore anti-Semitic as well as anti-Christian. It is, in fact, similar to "Jew as Christian-hater" propaganda that anti-Semites have spewed for centuries to incite pogroms and, most recently, the Holocaust. The National "Jewish" Democratic Council further abused its nominally Jewish identity by proclaiming that the Jewish Messiah will be a Democrat (http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2007/06/guest-commentar.html)–an open insult to Jews who believe in a Messiah, and an abuse of NJDC's self-proclaimed Jewish identity. NJDC, in fact, did what it accused Christians of doing ("A vote for Bush is a vote for God") by proclaiming that a vote for Democrats is a vote for God, or at least the Jewish Messiah.

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council's behavior has about as much to do with Judaism as the "Christian" Identity Movement has to do with Christianity. Nonetheless, Biden's appearance at an organization that publishes anti-Christian hate images is entirely consistent with Barack Obama's open association with racists, anti-Semites, and Catholic-hating bigots of the worst kind. To recap:

Barack Obama's campaign has made a point about not taking money from big donors, even though it has received six figure bundled contributions from "little, ordinary people" like Goldman Sachs, Lehman Broters, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Execlon, and Microsoft,* and even though Obama broke his pledge to accept Federal campaign financing and the accompanying spending limits. The Obama campaign's fundraising ethics also include illegal and possibly rigged lotteries like "Dinner with Barack;" the "Backstage with Barack" lottery was modified to allow entry without a donation under pressure from Minnesota and possibly other law enforcement agencies.

While Barack Obama is at least morally responsible for the behavior of his campaign staff--and he signed his name to at least one of the lottery solicitations even though, as an attorney, he ought to know at least something about lottery laws--he is directly and personally responsible for his deliberate, premeditated, and willful misuse of the United Church of Christ's tax exempt resources to support his campaign.

* The corporations do not donate the money themselves, they bundle donations from employees and others. This is legal.

The story begins in 2007, when the United Church of Christ (UCC) invited Barack Obama to its annual Synod in Hartford Connecticut. The church wanted Obama to talk about the role of religious faith in his career. As a tax exempt institution, the church made it explicitly clear to Obama and his staff that no election-related activity could take place at the event. Obama and his staff understood and agreed to this. As stated by "IRS Investigation: A Test Of Church's Faith?" by UCC minister Davida Foy Crabtree in the Hartford Courant

Our purpose in inviting Sen. Obama in the spring of 2006 — long before he was a candidate for the presidency — was to ask him to address the connection between his Christian faith and his public service, to speak to us of the challenges for people of faith in the public square today. And he did so with eloquence. As a prominent member of our church, his was a natural invitation, just as the others were. To avoid any hint of endorsement or promotion, our national officers and our denominational attorney established clear understandings with Sen. Obama's office in Washington. He readily agreed to all of them. We made it clear not only to his campaign staff but also to our own synod delegates and visitors that no advocacy or promotion of his candidacy would be permitted.

So far, so good; the United Church of Christ did everything it should have done to comply with the conditions of its tax exemption. After he said he understood and agreed that no campaign-related activity could take place at the Synod, Barack Obama wrote (thus showing premeditation and malice aforethought, as opposed to blurting out campaign promises in the heat of the moment) "A Politics of Conscience."

…It's been several months now since I announced I was running for president. In that time, I've had the chance to talk with Americans all across this country. And I've found that no matter where I am, or who I'm talking to, there's a common theme that emerges. It's that folks are hungry for change – they're hungry for something new. They're ready to turn the page on the old politics and the old policies – whether it's the war in Iraq or the health care crisis we're in, or a school system that's leaving too many kids behind despite the slogans.…

Our conscience can't rest so long as 37 million Americans are poor and forgotten by their leaders in Washington and by the media elites. We need to heed the biblical call to care for "the least of these" and lift the poor out of despair. That's why I've been fighting to expand the Earned Income Tax Credit and the minimum wage. If you're working forty hours a week, you shouldn't be living in poverty. But we also know that government initiatives are not enough. Each of us in our own lives needs to do what we can to help the poor. And until we do, our conscience cannot rest.Our conscience cannot rest so long as nearly 45 million Americans don't have health insurance and the millions more who do are going bankrupt trying to pay for it. I have made a solemn pledge that I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premiums by up to $2500 a year. That's not simply a matter of policy or ideology – it's a moral commitment. 

he fact that Obama said this after promising explicitly that no campaign-related activity would take place during his appearance at the United Church of Christ shows that he doesn't have much of a conscience at all. His conduct reminds us of a caller to a talk radio show who, after indicating his understanding of Federal Communication Commission rules that ban profanity, spews a long series of F-bombs once he is on the air. There are enough callers whose lack of maturity makes this a real possibility that there is a delay of several seconds between the time a person speaks and when the words are broadcast, and this allows the radio station to cut the sound if the F word or similar profanity is present. The United Church of Christ obviously felt that similar conduct from a United States Senator would be so inconcievable that there were no provisions for cutting Obama's microphone, and the UCC was wrong. Obama effectively F-bombed his own church, thus causing its officers considerable stress and worry about what the IRS would do as a result. The IRS apparently reached the same conclusion:

Senator Obama was invited to speak at the 2007 General Synod, in a non-candidate capacity, on how his personal faith intersected with his public life. You further established that the United Church of Christ had verbally communicated to those in attendance that Senator Obama was there as a member of the church and not as a candidate for office, that the audience should not attempt to engage in any political activities and that the church's legal counsel had advised Senator Obama's campaign of the ground rules for his speech.

Also in response to the inquiry, you indicated that the United Church of Christ did not authorize or have any power to authorize campaign volunteers for Senator Obama to set up tables near the entrances of the Hartford Civic Center on Saturday, June 23, 2007, and that the activity was conducted on public property outside the control of the synod and therefore was not attributable to the church.

You further advised that the United Church of Christ's website provides a link to the IRS fact sheet on "Election Year Activities and the Prohibition on Political Campaign Intervention for Section 501(c)(3) Organizations," and that your Nationwide Special Counsel has advised leaders of the United Church of Christ of the publication of Revenue Ruling 2007-41, in June 2007.(OCR transcription of part of the IRS letter to the United Church of Christ, http://www.ucc.org/news/pdf/irsletter.pdf)

Barack Obama promises change, including change in the way he is going to fund his political campaign, but his acceptance of six figure bundled contributions and his broken promise to accept Federal campaign financing and matching limits is just more of the same old stuff. On the other hand, Obama has certainly delivered change in the use of innovative campaign financing methods such as illegal and possibly rigged lotteries, and the diversion of tax exempt church resources for self-serving purposes. We note the haste with which Hillary Clinton--most likely under duress from her party's leaders, who may have overtly or covertly reminded her of what happened to Joe Lieberman when he went against MoveOn.org--cut off the roll call vote at the Democratic National Convention. The Democratic Party did not want a complete roll call vote that would have underscored Obama's lack of support, and perhaps even made Clinton the nominee. This is consistent with credible allegations that the Obama campaign itself interfered with the basic civil right of citizens to cast a free and secret ballot.

The Clinton campaign's credible allegation of election fraud in Nevada. We suspect that the only reason that Hillary Clinton would endorse the responsible individual would involve duress, e.g. a threat like "What we did to Joe Lieberman in 2006, we can do to you, and you probably can't win as an independent Democrat."

Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies.

Dear Chair Derby:
I write on behalf of Hillary Clinton for President ("the Committee") in regard to the January 19, 2008 Nevada Democ-ratic Caucus. The Committee is aware of a letter addressed to you today from the Obama for America campaign requesting an inquiry into the conduct of the caucuses. The Committee shares the Obama campaign's concern that full participation in the democratic process may have been compromised by the substantial number of irregularities occurring at the cau-cuses, and we fully support a complete inquiry by the Ne-vada State Democratic Party (the "Party") into all caucus improprieties.

This letter is not intended as a response to the Obama campaign's letter. However, in the interest of a complete record, and in contrast to the alleged minor procedural problems noted by the Obama campaign, the Committee wishes to bring to your attention information we have received evidencing a premeditated and predesigned plan by the Obama campaign to engage in systematic corruption of the Party's caucus procedures. Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies.

The Committee had 30 phone lines on Saturday to receive calls in its Las Vegas offices. These lines rang continu-ously from early morning until well after the caucuses concluded with reports from people who were victimized and who observed irregularities. The phone lines were so over-whelmed that many callers resorted to calling individual Committee staff cell phones to report that they could not get through. The Committee also received many similar calls at its national headquarters.

The Committee is confident that any investigation into the conduct of the caucuses will be thorough, fair and in the interest of insuring that future Party caucuses will be as open and democratic as possible.

Systematic Corruption of the Party's Caucus Procedures
The Committee received substantially similar reports of improprieties of such a number as to leave no conclusion but that the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters engaged in a planned effort to subvert the Party's caucus procedures to its advantage. For example:

þ Preference cards were premarked for Obama.

þ Clinton supporters were denied preference cards on the basis that none were left, while Obama supporters at the same caucus sites were given preference cards.

þ Caucus chairs obviously supporting Obama:
o Deliberately miscounted votes to favor Senator Obama.
o Deliberately counted unregistered persons as Obama votes.
o Deliberately counted young children as Obama votes.
o Refused to accept preference cards from Clinton supporters who were at the caucus site by noon on the ground that the cards were not filled out fast enough.
o Told Clinton supporters to leave prior to electing delegates.

þ Clinton supporters who arrived late were turned away from the caucus, while late Obama supporters were admitted to the caucus.

Manipulation of the Voter Registration Process
Numerous reports received by the Committee demonstrate a concerted effort on the part of the Obama campaign and its supporters to prevent eligible voters supporting a candidate other than Senator Obama from caucusing. The Obama supporters complained of were acting in positions of authority at the caucus sites. Some of these reports are as follows:

þ Obama supporters wrongly informed Clinton supporters that they were not allowed to participate in the caucus if their names were not on the voter rolls. However, Obama supporters whose names did not appear on the voter rolls were permitted to register at the caucus site.

þ Obama supporters falsely informed Clinton supporters that no registration forms were available for them to register to vote at the caucus site.

þ Obama supporters wrongly told Clinton supporters who were attempting to caucus at the wrong precinct that they could not caucus at that site, while simultaneously permitting Obama supporters at the wrong precinct to participate.

þ Obama supporters were allowed to move to the front of the registration and sign-in line.

Voter Suppression and Intimidation
The Committee received a substantial number of disturbing reports from voters that they had been subject to harassment, intimidation or efforts to prevent them from voting. Some of the most egregious of these complaints are described below:

þ Voters at at-large caucus sites were informed that those sites were for Obama supporters only.

þ Clinton supporters at at-large caucus sites were told that their managers would be watching them while they caucused.

þ Workers were informed that their supervisors kept lists of Clinton and Obama supporters, and were told that they could not caucus unless their name was on the list of Obama supporters.

þ Many Clinton supporters were threatened with employment termination or other discipline if they caucused for Senator Clinton.

þ Workers were required to sign a pledge card to support Obama if they wanted time off to participate in the caucus.
þ Workers at one casino were offered a lavish lunch and permitted to attend and register to vote only if they agree to support Obama.

The complaints summarized above represent only a small sample of the complaints received by the Committee. With respect to each of these complaints and many more, the Committee has the names and phone numbers of those reporting these incidents and the specific precinct numbers where the incidents occurred. Upon request the Committee will share these with the Party with appropriate safeguards to protect these individuals from reprisal. On the whole, these reports show a troubling effort by the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters to advance their own campaign at the expense of the right of all Nevada Democrats to participate in the democratic process in a free, fair and open manner.

Senator Clinton and the Committee are wholly committed to ensuring that every eligible voter has his or her vote cast and counted. There is no place in the American electoral process for the types of voter suppression, intimidation and harassment systematically engaged in by the Obama campaign, its allies and supporters.

Maybe NJDC's real problem with Sarah Palin is that she believes that Jesus is her Savior, even though Barack Obama shares this belief--but left-wing Democrats get a pass from NJDC.

Subject: National "Jewish" Democratic Council's promotion of anti-Christian hate

There is no place in modern politics for any organization that uses racial, ethnic, religious, or misogynist hate to advance its agenda. We therefore call upon the Obama campaign to reject the support of the National Jewish Democratic Council, whose "Bubbie versus the GOP" video (http://victoryfund.njdc.org/bubbie/) portrays Jesus, Christian ministers, and the Cross in a "This is the Enemy" context. NJDC has also provided derogatory misinformation about the Christian computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces," and it has used its nominally Jewish identity to whitewash anti-Semitic hate speech from MoveOn.org.

Now NJDC is circulating a petition to condemn John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin as a running mate. Even though we do not share Palin's belief in Jesus, it is our obligation to condemn NJDC's anti-Christian hate propaganda under color of Judaism as strongly as we expect decent Christians to condemn anti-Semitic hate speech under color of Christianity.

The National Jewish Democratic Council's "Bubbie versus the GOP" (http://victoryfund.njdc.org/bubbie/) is still available as of September 1 2008. "Bubbie versus the GOP" really seems to be "Bubbie versus Christians, Jesus, and the Cross," because it portrays all of them in a "This is the Enemy" context.

In Episode 1, red-robed Republicans cluster around a lectern with a Cross. The image of red-robed government figures around a lectern with a Star of David in a similar context would obviously be anti-Semitic because it implies that the "Zionist Occupied Government" is taking over America. The use of the Cross in the same context is therefore an anti-Christian hate image. Then a poster appears in the background that shows a large figure of Jesus and the caption, "Visit Jerusalem After the Rapture," thus mocking and deriding Christians who believe in the Book of Revelation while portraying Jesus in a "This is the Enemy" context.

Episode 2 opens with a poster behind Bubbie that says "America is a Christian nation," thus again portraying Christians as enemies of Jews.

Episode 3 is the one in which Republicans, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, sew a Cross into the flag's blue field. Anti-Semites often use the Star of David in exactly the same context (occupying the flag's blue field) to imply Jewish control of the United States. This video opens with a Christian minister proclaiming that a vote for Bush is a vote for God. There is also an arguably racist picture of a dark-skinned man, who might be an Arab but who looks more like an Asian Indian, in charge of Homeland Security.

Episode 4 includes a blimp with "Jews for Jesus" on it, again in a "This is the Enemy" context. The blimp proclaims that a vote for Bush is a vote for God.

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council then goes on to promote hatred of Christians by smearing the Christian computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces." (http://www.israpundit.com/2007/?p=5614) NJDC's total disregard for the truth is underscored by the fact that the misinformation it published about this game is still online as of September 1, 2008. (http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2007/08/pentagon-came-c.html) The NJDC knows that this information is totally incorrect, but it has not removed or revised its blog entry.

The National Jewish Democratic Council went on to underscore its hatred of Christians by opposing elective Bible as Literature courses to public school students. (http://www.israpundit.com/2007/?p=7065)

In addition to material whose possible purpose is to damage relations between Christians and Jews, the National Jewish Democratic Council has used its nominally Jewish identity to whitewash MoveOn.org's sponsorship of the most vicious imaginable anti-Semitic (and other) hate speech (http://www.jrtelegraph.com/2006/09/jews_call_on_bo.html). Ira Forman personally signed his name to the following statement:

Jewish voters should take comfort in knowing that MoveOn.org is not a haven for anti-Semitism and the organization will renounce and remove any postings of the sort. Leave it to Republicans to not allow the truth to get in the way of campaigning. Sincerely, Ira Forman Executive Director National Jewish Democratic Council

and stood by it even though NJDC was given incontrovertable evidence that MoveOn.org not only knew about the hate speech on its now-disgraced Action Forum, but did not even remove more than a few items (contrary to the above statement). NJDC's persistence with this falsehood is consistent with NJDC's refusal to remove or change its misinformation about "Left Behind: Eternal Forces."

NJDC also posted an item that could easily be construed as anti-Semitic. It is the same "Jew as Christian hater" propaganda that was used to incite various pogroms and the Holocaust. Per "Republicans' Elephant in the Living Room," (http://www.njdc.org/issues/detail.php?id=651&iss=2) still online as of September 1, 2008,

As for the purportedly common ground between Jews and Christians on American domestic issues, it is narrow indeed. Research by a variety of scholars and pollsters - Ken Wald of the University of Florida, Eric Uslaner and Mark Lichbach of the University of Maryland, the survey released just last week …shows a chasm between American Jews and evangelical Christians on issues ranging from the Iraq war to legal abortion to gay rights. More than identifying the schism on any specific topic, the research describes a visceral distrust, bordering on antipathy, for Evangelical Christians on the part of American Jews. For myself, I find this attitude to be exaggerated, or at least more suited to the past than the present, and yet it is an undeniable political reality. It is the kind of passionate reflex that a political consultant of my acquaintance, who happens to be a Republican, refers to as an "emotional trigger." And in any campaign, he says, you need to find your side's emotional trigger to get people out the door to vote.

This statement is clearly designed to damage relations between Jews and evangelical Christians, and it is therefore anti-Semitic as well as anti-Christian. It is, in fact, similar to "Jew as Christian-hater" propaganda that anti-Semites have spewed for centuries to incite pogroms and, most recently, the Holocaust. Drawing on several centuries of anti-semitism, Bauer intensifies her anti-semitic assault by making the virtuous German the object of the Jewish hate. …An example of this concept of the Jew as a Christian-hater occurs in Uncovered Jewry, Or A Thorough And Truthful Report About The Horrible Ways The Hidden Jews Desecrate The Holy Trinity.

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council further abused its nominally Jewish identity by proclaiming that the Jewish Messiah will be a Democrat (http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2007/06/guest-commentar.html)–an open insult to Jews who believe in a Messiah, and an abuse of NJDC's self-proclaimed Jewish identity. NJDC, in fact, did what it accused Christians of doing ("A vote for Bush is a vote for God") by proclaiming that a vote for Democrats is a vote for God, or at least the Jewish Messiah.

The National "Jewish" Democratic Council's double standards (i.e. dishonesty) are underscored by its condemnation of Mitt Romney for making a speech at the Henry Ford Museum because Ford once published anti-Semitic material that he later retracted and repudiated (http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2007/02/location_of_pre.html). NJDC condemned Romney for appearing at the museum of a long-dead EX-antisemite, but it had nothing to say about Barack Obama's appearance with and endorsement of a live and unrepentant one: Al Sharpton, at the April 2007 meeting of the National Action Network. The National Action Network, while under Sharpton's personal leadership and supervision, shouted racial and anti-Semitic epithets at a Jewish-owned store, Freddy's Fashion Mart, that one of Sharpton's deranged followers later set on fire. Sharpton personally called the Jewish owner a "white interloper" while his followers tossed in "bloodsucking Jew," "don't give the Jew a dime," and "cracker." In other words, Barack Obama endorsed a racist and anti-Semitic hate group, and a prominent racist and anti-Semite--and the National Jewish Democratic Council has not a word to say about this.

It took 20 years for Barack Obama to resign from his racist church, and he did so only when it became clear that the Trinity United Church of Christ had become a threat to his political campaign. Voters should pay close attention as to whether he continues to accept support from the National "Jewish" Democratic Council, which has a proven record of publishing anti-Christian hate images while using its nominally Jewish identity to whitewash the anti-Semitic activities of its political allies like MoveOn.org.

Sarah Palin's detractors may want to know what can possibly be worse than a zero for zero record (the kind held by most state governors) on foreign policy. Try Barack Obama's "experienced" running mate Joe Biden, whose record is zero for five if not worse. Peter Wehner's "Biden Was Wrong on the Cold War" reports,

In the 1970s, Mr. Biden opposed giving aid to the South Vietnamese government in its war against the North. Congress's cut-off of funds contributed to the fall of an American ally, helped communism advance, and led to mass death throughout the region.

In addition, Barack Obama's "experienced" running mate--experienced in decisions that killed millions of innocent people while costing millions more their freedom, did the following.

--Opposed modernization of the United States' strategic nuclear arsenal in the face of the Soviet Union's expansionist agenda, thus showing that he is not the right person to stand up to Vladimir Putin's new Russian Empire.

--Voted against the first Gulf War after Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait

--Opposed missile defenses for the United States

Peter Wehner adds,

In 2006, after having voted three years earlier to authorize President George W. Bush's war to liberate Iraq, Mr. Biden argued for the partition of Iraq, which would have led to its crack-up. Then in 2007, Mr. Biden opposed President Bush's troop surge in Iraq, calling it a "tragic mistake." It turned out to be quite the opposite. Without the surge, the Iraq war would have been lost, giving jihadists their most important victory ever.

Here we have Joe Biden's vaunted foreign policy experience in a nutshell. He voted to cut off aid to South Vietnam, thus promoting a Communist victory followed by killing fields and genocide. He called the successful troop surge a "tragic mistake."
